The Youth Film Festival rolls out the red carpet for everyone.

Do you have any questions, comments or suggestions on how we can make the festival even more accessible?

Let's hear from you!

Subcatch subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing

The films available for Subcatch will be added in January.

Install the Subcatch app on your smartphone or tablet. Choose the film you are going to watch and download the corresponding subtitles.

The non-Dutch-speaking films on the festival program are subtitled by default - no closed captioning.

JEF in hospital for children with limited mobility

The JEF in Hospital project ensures that children with limited mobility can also enjoy the greatest youth films.

On the user-friendly online platform, they can access the best youth films all year round. During the Youth Film Festival, we put part of the festival program online every year. This way, children can enjoy a unique festival experience from their hospital, rehabilitation centre, or home, and even present an award.
