The Cinema was born out of the collaboration between the M HKA and De Studio, between a contemporary art museum with a film function (the former Cinema Zuid) and a dynamic multidisciplinary cultural house in the heart of the city. The programme features the best of what cinema has to offer: in addition to masterpieces from film history, we also show the relevant cinema of today, the classics of tomorrow. We do not undertake this quest alone, but together with our many partners, including first and foremost our visitors.

The Cinema is fully committed to artistic and social relevance, to quality and diversity. To bring structure and recognisability to the multitude of titles, we divide the programme each month into several large blocks.

  • Film: €8 / €2 (vt-statute)

  • Point of U fest (11 en 12/02): €10 (day ticket) / €15 (weekend ticket)

Parking

The Studio does not have its own parking. There are pay car parks nearby. Also note whether your car is allowed to enter the Antwerp LEZ zone on Smart ways to Antwerp.
